- Dana White spoke with the press after UFC’s 226 event Saturday night. Regarding Brock Lesnar fighting Daniel Cormier sometime in the future, Dana mentioned there will be no issues from WWE in terms of making the fight happen. White said that Lesnar keeps Vince McMahon “in the know.” Dana also revealed Brock has been in the process of entering the USADA poll and will have to serve out a six-month suspension. That means the earliest Lesnar could fight is sometime in January or shortly after. As of this writing UFC has not confirmed any dates for next year. The last date announced is UFC 232 and it will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

- Fandango indicated on Twitter that he would be gone for six months. Indicating that he suffered an injury of sorts.

- Chris Jericho discussed Vince McMahon’s reaction when he found out that TNA was going to go head to head with RAW a few years back. “[Vince] said, ‘take me out of the equation. You can’t compete with WWE at this point. It’s too much of a machine, it’s too much of a brand, it’s just the way it is.’ And he’s right. You’re not gonna [beat] the WWE. You can compete, carve out your own niche, yes. But I also believe that [WWE] has now become entrenched in Americana, pop culture, and the world. It’s not gonna go anywhere.”

Note - TNA's move only lasted 9 weeks.

- Ziggler cut a promo via the WWE Twitter page and said "This is the line that I have drawn in the sand, and no one…30 minutes…and hour…six months down the line, no one will ever take this away from me. I will never be afraid and done with winning ever again. This man [Drew] has my back. For the first time ever anyone has my back in this business. And I will retire 5,000 and 0 as your champion."

- Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks said on Twitter “How cool would it be to win the WWE tag team championship belts and not even have to perform on their show?” to which Matt Hardy replied with "What are these FANTASTICAL FANCIES that you speak of, Bucks of Youth? September 1st?"

- Ziggler recently appeared on Lilian Garcia’s Chasing Glory podcast where he said his original WWE name was supposed to be David Diggler. He was told that he could pick his own name when he expressed worry about this new moniker, but he had to make sure his initials were still a double D. When Ziggler showed up on Raw he found out his name was Dolph Ziggler because that’s what the tag said on his gear. He was told due to the new Reality Era with names like John Cena and Randy Orton gaining steam that they wanted to present a real guy to the fans.

David Diggler! Haha. Sounds like a Pokemon.

- It looks like Nikki Cross could be debuting on the SmackDown Live brand very soon. She posted a photo of herself with Becky Lynch at a Smackdown show.

- MMA Fighting reports Lesnar re-joined the USADA testing pool on July 3rd so he would be eligible for a fight in January. It looks like we’ll get to see a return to the Octagon for Lesnar sooner than later.

- According to The Sports Business Daily, WWE’s decision to bring back the brand split for RAW & SmackDown is because ESPN had pursed w WWE television deal and that Turner Broadcasting was interested in WWE programming but was unable to act on that interest. ESPN was reportedly in the running for WWE and met with Stephanie McMahon, Paul Levesque, Michelle Wilson and George Barrios at least four times over the course of the last year. The final point that prevented WWE from moving to ESPN was that all of it’s current sports deals was impossible for the cable network to guarantee that WWE would be able to air 52 weeks a year in the same timeslot. This is one of the reasons WWE left USA Network for a deal with Viacom back in 2000.

- While speaking to Sky Sports, Eric Bischoff commented on the possibility of making a WWE return and said he would love to do it if there was a situation that worked for everybody. “I would love to do it if it was a situation which would work for everybody, a character like mine, there is only so much you can do from a storyline perspective. You can be that heel authority figure which I was for a few years in WWE and WCW, and it’s interesting and it’s fun but after a while you’ve kind of done everything you can do creatively."

- Ric Flair underwent surgery today in relation to his health problems last year. Charlotte indicated on Twitter that his surgery went well.

- Neville recently posed for a picture at Mid Breath Fitness Gym on Instagram and he’s looking good. He’s also looking happy which is important too. Since leaving WWE he hasn’t spoken up about anything on social media. So this is a rare thing. Neville walked out of WWE after he decided losing to Enzo Amore wasn’t in his best interest. Now he’s still under WWE contract but they’ve frozen it.

- Joseph Peisich of Barn Burner reported on the latest installment of the No Holds Barred Wrestling Show that WWE is planning on holding two WrestleMania events in 2020. The idea is to have one show in the United States and another show somewhere outside of the United States, similar to how they did the Greatest Royal Rumble event earlier this year.

- Shinsuke Nakamura worked the main event at the WWE Live Event on Monday in Augusta, so he’s been cleared to return to action. Nakamura faced AJ Styles in a losing effort for the WWE Championship title.

- TLC has been an integral part of WWE’s line-up of spectacular special events. However, it seems like the pay-per-view’s continuity might be questionable at this point. The pay-per-view was set to take place on the 21st of October from the TDGarden Arena in Boston, MA. However, both Ticket Master and the arena’s official site have replaced the event with “WWE SuperShow” for October 21.

Fingers crossed for the Wrestlemania in the UK!

Casey worked for WWE between 1987 to 1990 as well as a number of other territories, including World Class Championship Wrestling and Southwest Championship Wrestling in Texas.

- While appearing ABC’s Good Morning America to promote his upcoming film Skyscraper, The Rock revealed that his older daughter Simone wants to become a wrestler. “Here’s the crazy thing about my daughter Simone is she’s so smart and we’re also proud of her. She’s going into her senior year, she signed with ING, she’s a Golden Globes Ambassador. Simone is working so hard and work has already started. She wants to be a WWE wrestler.”
